Sushi & Co. engaged with the largest Independent Supermarket Chain in 2015 for setting up In-Store-SushiBar in most of the major SUPA IGA supermarkets. After two years' expansion, there are over 14 sites across Victoria, NSW and Queensland under management and we are growing at a rapid rate.


Due to our current growth we are looking for exceptional, passionate and committed individuals to join our team!!

Key Criteria

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience as a sushi chef
• Knowledge of sushi making and safe handling of food
• Served Safe certified preferred
• Must take initiative and be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Must be detail oriented

• Must be able to work autonomously
• Needs to be able to communicate effectively - Good communication, influencing and training skills
• Must have previous experience providing operational support to franchisees, driving sales and operational excellence.
• Must be passionate about training - Driving sales, customer service and operational excellence.
• Must be able to analyse sales data and reporting trends
• Must be well organised and have exceptional time management
• Able to work as the liaison between stores and head office
• Strong work ethic, can-do attitude and highly personable
• Must have a good understanding of Roster management
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel preferred

Position Overview:
Operate various Sushi & Co. sushi bars until location transitions to a franchise location. Responsibilities to include operate sushi bar.

Primary Job Functions 80%

Operate Sushi & Co. sushi bar to maximize sales.

Job Responsibilities:
1) Open sushi bar and/or hot food service counter
2) Make sushi items and/or hot foods
3) Post applicable promotional displays (posters, banners, etc)
4) Promote food product by demonstration/sampling
5) Close sushi bar and/or hot food service counter
6) Submit weekly data reports and business reports within company policy

Secondary Job Functions 20%

1) Set up location and kitchen equipment.
2) Train Franchisees and Chefs on food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety and sanitation.
3) Track sales data and sales trends; follow-up on customer/store management feedback.
4) Other duties as assigned
