An exciting Hotel venue in St Kilda, dedicated to offering an exceptional modern Australian menu in a chic yet relaxed setting. We are looking for a skilled and creative chef that has genuine passion and enthusiasm. We view our employees as our greatest asset in the driving success of the group.

You will be hands on, highly organised, and responsible for the following:

  • Be able to deliver high quality food.
  • Ordering and costings
  • Follow all menu orders, dietary needs and special requests.
  • Work efficiently and effectively within kitchen operations.
  • Adhere to food handling standards / systems and hygiene.
  • Maintain a high standard of general cleanliness.
  • Good attention to detail and presentation.
  • Be able to work split shifts

The Successful Candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Must have previous experience, of at least 2 years, in a similar role.
  • Menu planning.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Be budget driven.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be able to multitask.
