This is a hands on role for a happy, level headed Sous Chef, who knows how to roll up their sleeves and get on with a busy service and with their team.

Our venue is much loved by our members and guests alike, and is always busy. Well known for our beautiful facilities & Very busy bistro with an emphasis on fresh local produce. The menu is simple, fresh and diverse with a track record of success and is complimented with newly renovated kitchens, also very flexible shifts, we believe in life balance. With mornings or evening shifts. Nothing later than 9.30pm

The Role:
As Sous chef, you will support the head chef whilst managing all aspects of the kitchen including operational and financial aspects of the venue. We place a focus on co-operation between front and back of house so a calm mature personality is required.

400 + covers per day, you must be flexible, reliable and an excellent communicator. In return for your commitment you will be provided with an opportunity for development and growth and a fun, enjoyable & safe working environment.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate the following:

• At least 2 years’ experience
• Trade Qualifications
• A creative and innovative flair
• Passionate & positive food delivery & attitude
• Leadership qualities
• Ability to train, coach & motivate the team
• Menu planning & preparation experience
• A desire to produce an excellent product
• A desire to meet the demands of the business
• Candidates must be Australian Residents who want a long term position
