About the role

What you would be doing

The main things that you would be doing include:

  • Work in conjunction with the Head Chef to lead the operation of our kitchen.
  • Support in leading, mentoring and developing the team while running various sections during service.
  • Assume total responsibility of the service in the absence of the head Chef
  • Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
  • Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
  • Engage in a positive manner with FOH teams to ensure outstanding food experience for our customers.
  • Be involved with a creative process of weekly special options.
  • Support on ensuring COGS and key performance metrics are met in the kitchen.

We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Have desire to become the next Head Chef
