A multi-faceted modern venue requires a strong Sous Chef to assist in delivering quality modern European cuisine that sits amongst the top echelons of Melbourne's dining scene.

Featuring hand-made pasta and a range of delicate and delicious dishes featuring some of Australia's best produce as well as premium imported products direct from Italy.

As Sous you will be required to work across all sections of a commercial kitchen and be responsible for the operations when the Head Chef is not in the kitchen including staff management, ordering and consistency.

In addition to 3 years previous experience as Sous Chef you will also be:

  • Fully qualified with minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery
  • Knowledge on latest cooking techniques and trends
  • Knowledge on kitchen technology
  • Experience with Italian and European cuisines including making fresh pasta
  • Experience within high-end Hat/Michelin/Rosette restaurants
