About the role
A classic Australian pub, a local favourite and an all round ace venue to spend a lazy afternoon in the sun having an ice cold drink.
This well oiled, tight knit operation, built by a small brigade is looking to add a Sous Chef to the team just before the summer season kicks off.
You will be a mentor in the kitchen to less experienced team members, looking to bring the best out of people around you whilst executing all leadership duties in the absence of the Head Chef.
Suited to a strong Chef de Partie, Snr Chef de Partie, or even a experienced Sous Chef comfortable working in a medium size operation.

Skills & experience
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP is essential to be considered for this role
- Great leadership and communication skills
- Experience running service whilst managing a medium size brigade
- Follows food trends and creative flair in the kitchen
- Certificate III Commercial Cookery or trained apprentice, advanced understanding of food safety & hygiene, OHS
