To achieve this goal we are requirepassionate people with a strong delivery focus, who have had previous experience in delivering software to the market.

About You:

Although highly desirable,but not essential,applicants withIoT software/firmware developmentexperience or exposure would be a distinct advantage. We seektalentedSoftwareEngineerswitha focus on security and delivering robust 'production ready' software. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software automation and continuous delivery. Youwill have strongC and nodejsdevelopment experience preferable in the IoT space.This position provides end to end software development, design, test, and development modifications to current software infrastructures to enable the transition into production supportable environments that scale.

The successful applicant will be part of the Xped Cloud team, so should have a strong understanding of serverless architecture offered by AWS.

Core Responsibilities include:

Develop, code, test, and document new applications and systems from team discussions and design specification documents

Maintain and enhance in-house software applications/databases and proprietary databases

Participate in the design review process in order to identify and close gaps between business requirements and design

Maintain and enhance existing serverless architecture on the AWS platform

Strong focus on IT security concepts and principles

Enhancement and support of existing nodejs and C codebase

Respond to escalated support requests from end users at level three (last line support)

Overseas Travelmaybe required from time to time

Experience, Education, & Skillsrequired:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent years of relevant programming experience may be substituted for education

5-7 years experience working with software development on a platform, such as nodejs and C

Experience with multiple programming other languages and technologies is highly desired. This may include: Qt, C#, HTML, XML, XSLT and Python

Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices

Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and constantly changing environment

Must have strong oral and written communication skills
