About the role

If successful, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our internal training program. Our wide range of functions and stakeholders ensure our training requirements cover a diverse range of areas including sales skills, product knowledge and OHS/employment relations compliance.

You will perform needs analysis and design, prepare and present training courses to frontline store employees, support office and store management. You will also grow the development of courseware, and plan and coordinate training events and store visits.

Delivery will involve a combination of face to face, on the job, online and webinar training and coaching thus travel will be required within Victoria and interstate. You will understand training services best practices within our industry and continually improve the training offering of Total Tools.

What will you bring to the role?

• Certificate IV in training or equivalent
• An engaging presentation style with the ability to target a variety of audiences/personality styles
• Proven experience in a sales environment
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
• Exemplary communication skills
• A passion for emerging technology and its application to training
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Product knowledge of the tools and trade industry (desirable, but not essential)
