With an established reputation of quality Italian cuisine, wine list, cocktails and service, we strive to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne. Located currently across 3 sites,Keilor, Doreen and Caroline Springs. Slices has been in operation since 1990 and has years of experience in the industry and is renowned for their rustic Italian cuisine.

The family restaurant is Dine in or takeaway with the convenience of drive-through and each location seats from 250 to 350 customers.It also caters for functions from Birthdays to christenings or any corporate event.

In these roles, you will be working closely with the Group restaurant manager and business development manager, head chef and events and marketing team to deliver the best possible service we can offer. You will be the face of the venue and you will build a good relationship with our loyal customers.

You will be part of the front of house team and enjoy working with a smile on your face, just because you love hospitality and dealing with customers. You must be motivated and be able to work within a large team in a fast paced environment.

ManagersRole:

As the manager you will be responsible for the day to day operation, training and motivating staff. With your fun and motivated attitude you will lead your team to make sure that all duties are performed to the right set standards. You will inspire your team on a daily basis, whilst being in charge of the front of house you will have care and passion for interacting with customers on daily basis and working closely with the senior management team. You will report directly to the owner and business development manager of the business and supported by a strong team of industry professionals. You will be responsible for the standard KPI's of wages, revenue and GP's.

What you need to be successful in these roles:

You come with a mix of higher end dining as well as high volume and faced paced environment

Financial skills in relation to profit and loss, GP's, Budgets etc

You will need a minimum of 3 year’s experience in a manager role and be the best in the industry

Natural leadership ability to train,motivate and inspire your team. A friendly and positive attitude

Excellent customer service skills that you can train into your team

You will need to be a natural leader with a fun sense of humor and at the same time be professional in your approach with your team and customer

You must have 100% passion for hospitality and customers satisfaction

Responsibilities and Duties

Professional and proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop

Inspirea team of 10-25 team members

Ensure that your team delivers an exceptional customer experience each and every time

Revenue management and budget management

Keeping wage percentages to an agreed maximum

Manage the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant

Ensuring that all staff are trained in new menu developments or procedures

Monitor promotional activities through your team

Qualificationsand Skills

CurrentVictorian RSA

Hospitality Management Degree or Diploma (preferable)

Food Hygiene (HACCP) Training

First Aid Certificate

Previous experience essential
