Yu Kitchen is in partnership with Malaysia's famed Ruyi & Lyn restaurant, boasting a crafty pan- Asian menu mentored by Chen kentaro – chef & owner of Singapore's two Michelin- starred Shisen Hanten and son of Iron Chef Chinese Chen Kenichi.

The kitchen will be whipping up modern dishes from the use of locally and internationally sourced produce to live caught seafood off the coast of Australia.

About the role

The Line Cook is responsible of ensuring food is prepared to daily according to Chef and Business standards so customers expectations are met.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate must:

• Have a minimum of 2 years in Chinese Kitchen.
• Be able to display OH&S procedures and food safety.
• Ensure all food preparation meets standard
• Prepare and present high quality food
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to read in English
• Be able to work under pressure by their own as well as in a team.
• Have a positive work attitude
• Experience in Cantonese or Szechuan cuisine is a plus
