The Role

At our Epping Retail site, this position is responsible for all kitchen functions, including but not limited to, stock control, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, safety, sanitation and cleanliness. You will be responsible for the training of employees in connection with the above. This position also provides high level of customer service inclusive of cash handling, support of promotional activity, security, loss prevention and general housekeeping. This role is responsible for the day to day food operations of the service stations kitchen.

Requirements

• Proven food handling and kitchen experience
• Previous experience in a retail environment (preferable)
• Ability to work in a flexible environment with additional hours as required over a 7 day/24 hour roster
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
• Ability to work under pressure
