We are looking for a kitchen team to help run our dessert lounge kitchen on a full-time/part-time basis. Our dessert lounge is due to open by June in Melbourne CBD (right across from Southern Cross station), so we are going to be the new kid on the block. This means that you will be part of the team that sets the standard and paves the way for our future - exciting, hey?

What the job will be:

• Liaising with all members across the entire dessert bar team to maintain a connected atmosphere
• Communicating directly to the head of kitchen
• Inventory
• Preparing dessert components by hand
• Operating machinery to create dessert components
• Keeping the kitchen space hygienic and tidy

Qualifications/past experience:

• If you have had previous experience in a commercial kitchen, fantastic. At our place, you will be required to prepare dessert components and operate the machinery to prepare some of these components.
• RSA. If you do not have one, this will be provided during training.
