We are a respected food manufacturer who produce high quality foods for the food service, retail and contract manufacturing markets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Hand to join our team.

You will be required to assist our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing and packaging environment.

We are looking for applicants who are available to start immediately!!

This position is full time with some overtime available. You will have some flexibility with your working hours, with shifts being between the hours 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM Monday to Friday.

Our business is located in Brunswick and is very close to public transport.

PR status will be highly advantageous and you must have the right to work full time in Australia. Police clearance is also essential.

Our employees work under award conditions and in doing so you will be entitled to shift loading, annual leave and personal leave as well as superannuation.

Duties and abilities may include but are not limited to:

• Ability to work in all areas of food production
• Ability to work in packaging area
• Some duties require manual handling
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• You must be physically fit
• You must be punctual
• You must be reliable and hardworking with a stable work history
• You must be a team player and be able to work within a team environment
• You will be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Manual handling and lifting of up to 20kg required
• Ability to carry out kitchen hand duties and support daily operations within our facility/kitchen
• Washing of dishes, cleaning of kitchen equipment, cleaning of kitchen and other factory amenities will be required
• This position requires you to wear water proof steel capped safety shoes/boots
