Kong draws on the old-age and much heralded practice of Asian barbecue and smoking techniques. About the Role: Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas whilst providing support to the Cooks and Chefs. The Kitchen Hand must be able to endure the repetitive and physically demanding nature of the role and possess a positive and motivated work ethic at all times. Washing of dishes, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment Assist with kitchen set up of preparation areas Ensure the kitchen is packed down and cleaned on a timely manner Understanding of food safety Comply with OHS requirements Skills & Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Kitchen Hand in a fast-paced restaurant environment Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team Possess a ‘can do’ attitude Reliable and hard-working Must be able to work 6am-3pm Monday-Friday.
