The Venue and Role

Iki-jimi is Melbourne’s first dedicated seafood restaurant, located on Little Collins Street in Melbourne CBD. As a kitchen hand you will become part of this exciting venue and work with a passionate and close knit team! For the right person this will be a great opportunity to develop your cooking career

We are looking for a Full time Kitchen hand to support the kitchen team and ensure the smooth service in the kitchen.

Duties include:

• Basic food preparation
• Cleaning the kitchen, utensils, kitchen appliances, floors, walls and all surfaces
• Removal and cleaning of rubbish bins.
• Cleaning and polishing glasses and cutlery
• Ensuring all food preparation tasks you are assigned are carried out in a timely fashion, to a high standard and within food hygiene guidelines
• Assisting in other areas of the café operations as directed by Management
