Bacash Restaurant is a busy restaurant in SouthYarra. We are seeking to employ someone who can take over the daily cleaning of the restaurant 5 mornings a week and then work in the kitchen doing general food preperation and washing dishes.

We are a busy restaurant and need someone with lots of energy who is able to work unsupervised. The sucessful applicant will be well presented and speak good english.

The position of lunch time kitchen hand reports to the front of house manager regarding the cleaning of the restaurant and is then expected to help keep the kitchen orderly whilst helping all sections of the kitchen with food preperation.

A normal days work in the Kitchen would include

  • Cleaning Calamari
  • Cleaning Prawns
  • Picking herbs
  • Chopping Parsley
  • Peeling Onions, Garlic and Potatoes
  • Grating Cheese

The cleaning of the restaurant everyday requires

  • Vacuming of the restaurant
  • Cleaning the Bathrooms
  • Mopping Floors
  • Sweeping the footpath

At all times the kitchen hand must be well presented.
