Briteway is an industry-leading specialist cleaning company. We are seeking candidates for a permanent position as a kitchen exhaust cleaning technician at one of our high profile sites in Melbourne. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills in an active cleaning role.

Job Description
The role involves performing a variety of tasks throughout various restaurant. This includes inspection, cleaning and maintenance of kitchen exhaust systems and other services. Working in a confined space is a key part of the role.

The successful candidate shall perform work via work platforms, ladders, benchtops and within ducts where required.

Job features include:

• Working with a friendly, experienced team
• Guaranteed full-time employment with a minimum of 38 hours per week
• 11:00PM starts Sunday to Thursday at a fixed location in Melbourne
• A variety of cleaning activities
• Opportunities to gain new skills and qualifications

Applicant Requirements
In order to be considered for the role, you must:

• not be claustrophobic
• adhere to strict OHS requirements
• have no fear of confined spaces or heights and be willing and able to work within a greasy environment
• have a clean police record
• have a neat and tidy appearance
• be available for night shifts
• be able to comply with the company's smoke-free workplace policy
• be able to communicate clearly in English
• be able to work full-time hours, and
• be looking for long-term employment (minimum two years).

This position does not require formal qualifications or experience, although any previous experience or confined space card holders shall be looked upon favourably. Most important is your positive attitude and willingness to learn. If you are successful in gaining a position with Briteway, you will be provided with industry-best training.
