We are looking for passionate, energetic and experienced Cook for our Caltex Blacksoil site who has a professional attitude and an eye for detail. The ideal candidates will need to be customer centric, have an open and welcoming attitude, problem-solving skills, and an ability to work under pressure within a dynamic team.

The ideal candidates will:

• Possess strong knowledge of Food Safety
• Know how to upkeep a healthy and clean environment
• Experience in the hospitality or café industry will be desirable
• Have Cooking and/or Waitressing experience - highly desirable!
• Be able to work a rotating roster, which can include weekends, overnights and public holidays
• Have a flexible and open personality, to help in any station and be available where requested in times of need
• Sustain the ability to work quickly and under pressure
• Have strong know-how of organising a kitchen and keeping it structured
• Be well presented and have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have previous kitchen experience!

Duties will/may include:

• Short order cooking
• Cabinet prepping, making fresh food and meals
• Contribute to new ideas for our menu
• General cleaning duties and weekly deep cleaning duties
• Manage orders and kitchen stock
• Work together with a kitchen team
• Attend to customers and take orders accordingly
