Due to recent internal promotions we are looking for passionate, energetic and career-orientated chef to join us at GAZI as a Junior Sous Chef. A high paced kitchen, you will have a real thirst for delivering excellence every time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work in conjunction with both the Head and Sous Chef to lead the operation of our kitchen
• Support in leading, mentoring and developing the team while running various sections during service
• Assume total responsibility of service in the absence of the head/sous chef
• Engage in a positive and collaborative manner with the FOH teams to ensure outstanding food experiences for our customers
• Be involved in the creative process of daily special options with the Head Chef
• Support on ensuring COGS and key performance metrics are met in the kitchen

You will be both passionate about food and thrive on working within a cohesive team to deliver a great food experience to our customers. You will also have:

• Worked in high quality kitchens delivering outstanding food experiences
• Proven ability to work in a high paced pressurised environments
• Exposure training/mentoring junior chefs in an encouraging way
• Understand the requirements of a high standard kitchen with uncompromising quality
• A new-age leader who has an engaging communication style
• Ability to partner effectively with the FOH teams
• Have desires to run your own kitchen and learn from an industry leader
