Our food menu is all about delicious plates matched to the business of boozing. Along with our A la Carte offerings Boilermaker House offers a unique Drinks Matched Dinner – 3 – courses expertly matched to beer, whisky, Boilermakers or Cocktails.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in our Craft Beer and Whisky den. This is an opportunity to flex your creative muscles with venue appropriate culinary control. We aim to provide our guests with a sense of escapism through unique and comfortable drinking and dining experiences. There is a seasonally rotating produce driven menu and the chance to work alongside some amazing brands to offer one of a kind dining events. Skills and experience

  • Creativity and initiative to develop innovative, seasonal and on-trend menu items to match our craft beer and whisky offerings.
  • Initiative in generating ideas and creative alternatives on your menu according to the season.
  • Experience in managing a small kitchen team to ensure consistent high-quality standards.
  • Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
  • Experience in ordering, costing and stock control.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • Team player attitude and commitment to high-end service delivering quality food items and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Ideally someone with 2 years' experience in a senior kitchen role.
  • Trade qualification or equivalent (Cert III in Commercial Cookery)
