Kew RSL Club has an exciting opportunity for a new Chef to join the team.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be hands on and involved in all aspects of kitchen management including the design and creation of new concepts and the training and inclusive culture of the team.

This senior role has a fantastic work life balance operating 5 days per week with time off over the Christmas period.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Purchasing: responsible for all stock ordering and maintaining necessary inventory, including the costing of menu items and the minimization of kitchen waste.
Have a strong attention to detail and ability to teach others the same in leading by example
Training and Education: hire, train, and educate new staff.
Proven experience in functions and a fast paced kitchen environment
Proficient in managing budgets including labour costs, food costs and Menu design
Good communications skills to ensure FOH and BOH work effectively together
Be adaptable to changing demographics and respond to the needs within the business
Thorough knowledge and application of all HACCP guidelines and Food Safety requirements and obligations
Well presented at all times
Be level headed, self-motivated and confident in leading a team and generating a high-level customer satisfaction rating
Ability to produce evidence of your abilities and work history will be essential for the short-listed candidates. Minimum 2 years' experience in senior kitchen roles.
