Wishbone is a new cafe opening in Elsternwick in mid-July 2018. We are a social enterprise, with a focus on sustainability. Wishbone offers a beautiful space where customers can come to enjoy true specialty coffee, an all-day Japanese inspired menu as well as a great atmosphere.

Currently seeking a head chef to start with us in July. You will work alongside the owners to bring their vision to life, but still get the opportunity to express yourself in each dish. Experience or an interest in Japanese cuisine is a must. A keen eye on trends and a love for beautiful presentation will be essential. We currently have a menu written up that you will take over, and any further development, innovation and thoughts are welcome.

As we are a new business, you will get to jump in on the ground floor of this operation and really take charge. You will be a strong leader and role model for your team. Also, we only operate during day time, so no night shifts required. We are really looking for someone who wants to grow with us and join our family.
