This established, successful brand has been making waves interstate is now seeking to move into the dynamic Melbourne dining scene and is seeking a Head Chef with superior management skills.

Specialising in modern Cantonese cuisine this unique role will see you working within a new purpose built warehouse with multiple kitchen sites installed managing a team of Chefs to deliver consistent and produce driven dishes.

The successful candidate will receive industry leading support with fully paid training undertaken within the Head Office in Sydney to learn the brands recipes ensuring you can effectively maintain the company's high standards and train the Melbourne team to follow the brand's direction and signature dishes.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with:

Cantonese or Asian Cuisine

Establishing new kitchens including recruitment and menu development

Disciplined systems management and quality control

Pro-active, self-motivated and hands on cooking

Full operational ability - COGs, wages, P&L, etc.

Effective rostering and staff management

Delivering consistency in presentation and taste in high volume environments

You will also require the flexibility to travel between Sydney and Melbourne especially for the first 6-12 months.
