About the role

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen's activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.

This role demands an individual who can work under pressure yet still provides a calm work environment within the kitchen.

The successful candidate will need to effectively roster staff and manage labour costs.

Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team.

Produce and maintain exceptional quality food throughout different areas of the hotel.

Support the Venue Manager by providing leadership and demonstrating commitment to building a safety conscious culture in the venue

The position is offered as salaried and will include weekend work, Public holidays and split shifts..

Skills and experience

Previous experience as a Head chef or an experienced Sous chef wanting to step up is required.

Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Strong business acumen with a hard working hands on approach.

All food safety certificates and also a trade certificate is the minimum requirement for those who wish to apply.
