Seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to take over the role as Head Chef in our fast-paced Mexican kitchen located in Melbourne City.

• The Head Chef will have the opportunity to:

1. Deliver and execute creative Mexican ideas to supportive Directors striving to deliver the best Mexican experience possible.
2. Lead all aspects of the kitchen in a growing company full of opportunity.
3. Evolve and improve processes, efficiency and style of service.

The right candidate will:

1. Be a fully committed professional with a proven hospitality pedigree, having worked in the industry for a minimum of 3 years as Sous or Head Chef.
2. Be a natural leader, able to supervise and motivate your kitchen team to deliver a unique and consistent dining experience.
3. Have positive communication skills, energy and attitude at all times.
4. Manage all aspects of the kitchen including ordering, food costing analysis, budgeting and recruitment.
5. Be proficient in all aspects of food safety, including having Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
6. Have flexible availability to work 5 days / week across a 7 day / week operation.
