Who is Kinfolk?

Kinfolk exists to create more inclusive communities with a focus on providing meaningful experiences that enable people disadvantaged in the community to feel valued, build confidence and gain technical hospitality training.

Sibling by Kinfolk is a new café operation opening in October. Using a workforce of both permanent and volunteer employees, it will strive to attract a diverse clientele of café lovers who enjoy great food and beverage including exceptional coffee and personalised and unique service.

We are seeking extraordinary HOSPITALITY people to open and drive this business. To apply you need to be very open-minded and flexible, training focused with remarkable communication skills and be able to thrive in an inclusive environment where people of all social, ethnic backgrounds and intellectual levels are encouraged to work.

We are looking for a Chef who is ready and excited by the idea of managing their own kitchen.......

As a qualified Chef, you must have excellent communication skills, be experienced in budgeting, managing labour and food costs, and be able to demonstrate very strong leadership skills and most importantly you will need to enjoy cooking (this is a hands-on role) and be a great Chef.

You must be passionate about cooking but equally passionate about training!
