Good Times Milk Bar aims to be Melbourne's hottest and newest coffee and kitchen destination. We are currently recruiting an experienced and proven Head Chef to work closely with the Directors to develop a distinctive food offering. Good Times Milk Bar is offering an exciting opportunity to work with established hospitality professionals in a uniquely designed space located in Bentleigh - 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

About the role:

We are seeking Cooks, Chefs and a Head Chef looking to take the next step to join, lead and inspire our new team. The right candidate will be looking for career growth, wanting to consolidate and advance their skill set, while looking to become an integral part of creating an outstanding company culture others will strive to achieve. As Head Chef, you will be working to develop initial and ongoing, back of house staff recruitment, training, menu development, liaising with suppliers, monitoring food costs, completing costed rosters and wage percentages. You will be responsible for the daily running of kitchen operations.

About you:

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, hardworking and can work autonomously. You must understand the ins and outs of a busy restaurant of similar size, while thriving on your ability to motivate and lead others with a keen eye for detail.
