Cater Care are seeking an experience Full Time Chef to work at a Residential facility in Parkville.

We are looking for a friendly dedicated Chef to work Monday to Friday to prepare and cook home style lunch and dinner for residents. You will have bulk cooking experience using seasonal ingredients with variety and choice.

Please note: Police Check and Working with Children Check clearance required before commencing

Roster: Monday to Friday 9:30am - 6:30pm

Salary: $25.00 p/hr

Reporting to the Chef Manager your role and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of ingredients / menu - adherence to service times with consistency and quality of food product
  
• Cooking of a variety meals lunch, dinner, desserts; and a variety of cuisines and special diet requirements
  
• Working alongside Chef Manager, apprentices and kitchen staff
  
• Cleaning kitchen and washing dishes
  
• Monitoring and promoting kitchen hygiene & food safety practices
  
• Driving required

Key Attributes:

• Trade Qualified Chef
  
• Experience in bulk cooking
  
• Experience in a large kitchen with competent knife skills is a necessity
  
• Ability to work under high pressure situations and catering in large volumes
  
• Supervisory skills, and ability to lead & direct a team
  
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders including Management and Clients
