Busy South Melbourne Cafe requires dynamic Chef to refresh and revitalise our offer. You will be working alongside another chef/ sandwich hand to run a breakfast and lunch service Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities include:

Preparation of a range of different salads and hot bain marie meals each day.

Breakfast and Lunch a la carte service.

Stock Ordering and rotation.

Menu Planning.

Keeping a neat and tidy kitchen.

Maintenance of temperature logs, food labelling and other food safety requirements.

The hours are Monday- Friday 6.30- 3.00. There are no weekends or nights.

The successful applicant will be experienced in breakfast and lunch service and ideally have strong knowledge of current food trends and be prepared to contribute ideas. We can get quite busy so you must be able to work under pressure and have a calm temperament.
