To be successful in this role, you must possess the following attributes:

• Experience or passion for vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
• Relevant trade qualifications (Minimum 2 years experience in role diploma OR minimum 3 years experience in role without diploma)
• Strong work ethic and able to perform in fast-paced environment
• Excellent Knowledge of HACCP and Food Hygiene Procedures .
• Demonstrated experience in a multitude of sections
• Ability to lead by example and be a part of a team
• Experience in running a section
• Excellent organisation, delegation and time-management skills
• Experience in menu planning & item development

Duties will include:

• Training Staff
• Assisting senior chefs with menu planning and estimating food and labour costs.
• Monitor quality of dishes throughout stages of preparation and presentation
• Preparing and cooking food to the highest of standards
• Demonstrate different techniques and cooking procedures

• Two to three years experience at a quality cafe or restaurant.
• Able to work in different sections in the kitchen
• Ability to work under pressure
• Creative and passionate about food
• Consistent and focused
• Great team player and communicator
• Attention to detail
• Control the pass
