We're recruiting an Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at our Production Facility. Our Pastry Chefs are responsible for the preparation and baking of traditional European & Artisan style products.

To be successful you must have the capability to manage a cake team across day and night shift, ensuring preparation and baking meet production requirements for our outlets and wholesale production. We are seeking a candidate who wants to train and develop team skills and have responsibility for production planning and resource scheduling.

Ideally, you will:

  • Possess 10+ years experience in Pastry/Cake and at least 5 years managing large teams.
  • Have strong understanding and experience in the production of cakes.
  • Passionate about food and baking with a drive for excellence.
  • Be quality focused and have some knowledge of HACCP quality systems.
  • Finish products to product specifications.
  • Assist in stock control by monitoring ingredient requirements and wastage.

The role does involve heavy lifting.
