Our client are a regional winery seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the team coming into 2019. This concept is extremely organised, highly structured and enjoys the enviable reputation as one of the coasts most popular dining complexes.

The Role:

  • Manager of a large operation, three outlets (B|L|D)
  • Menu Development (Functions, A La Carte & Cafe)
  • Stock management and ordering
  • Managing brand and house standards
  • Effective management of kitchen staff ensuring quality of product and service, including performance reviews
  • Effective communication with front of house management and staff
  • Maintain product integrity
  • Ensure daily par levels are met
  • Staff rostering and timesheet management


You will be:

  • Cool under pressure and excited by a challenging fast paced environment
  • A service professional who is passionate about building a business
  • An established and experienced Executive Chef - 3 years minimum in similar roles
  • Ambitious and keen to make your mark
  • A real people person who can influence, persuade and lead from the front

You will have:

  • Minimum 3-5 year's experience within a fast paced or similar kitchen environment
  • Managed teams of 20 plus people
  • Created and lead a high performing service team
  • Managed high turnover businesses
  • A passion for the restaurant business
  • High standard of food preparation and productivity
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to plan ahead
  • Strong communication, attention to detail and leadership skills
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings
