Nobu - Full-TIme Cook

Nobu is the world’s most recognised Japanese restaurant is known for its innovative new-style Japanese cuisine with over 30 restaurants around the world.

Melbourne’s very own Nobu offers a contemporary atmosphere and stylish surrounds. The split level venue features a sushi bar, private dining room, main restaurant downstairs and bar upstairs, offering a full a la carte menu.

In this role you will gain exposure to all different sections, you will work in a large team and be expected to work closely as a team and ensure that the food stays true to the Nobu style.

Skills & Experience

• Passion and dedication for cooking
• Upmarket dining, high volume restaurants or hotel experience is highly desirable
• Exceptional knife skills
• Ability to work as a part of a team environment
• Capability to maintain high and consistent standards
• Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
• Flexibility to work across a 7 day roster, including late evenings, weekends & public holidays
