We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at one of our education sites in Toorak. Hours will be Monday to Friday 6.30am - 2.30pm working during the school term only. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, supervising catering staff as required, supporting the Head Chef with functions and maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness. In addition to the Cook duties you will be required to handle cash, dishwash, assist with deliveries and stocktake, complete daily food safety reports and provide general services within the canteen environment.

About You
You will have previous experience as a cook and likely hold a Cert 3 in commercial cookery. Experience in a range of cooking will be required from canteen foods through to fine dining and cocktail functions and you will have the capacity to provide cover for the Head Chef in their absence.
