We are looking for a Cook to join our team and contribute to maintaining our high standard of cooking and service. We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual with previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Preparing food such as peeling, chopping, cutting, measuring and preparing garnishes to execute dishes and menus with colleagues

Ensure there is an adequate amount of supplies and prep for service

Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)

Follow the guidance of the executive and/or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes

Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality

Adhere to strict health and hygiene standards

Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

Skill Requirements

At least 3 years relevant experience Cooking in a Commercial kitchen

Relevant Cert IV Qualification

Experience with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes

Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

Knowledge of various cooking practices
