Toscano's is looking for an experienced kitchen-hand to assist in the preparation of our house made take-home meals

Toscano's of Kew is one of Melbourne's premier food stores, selling quality fruit and vegetables, deli goods and groceries. Alongside this, we also have a range of house-made, take-home meals and salads. We currently have multiple roles available for experienced Kitchen-hands and cooks, to assist our Chef in the execution of this range.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A good basic food-knowledge, and appreciation of good food
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food preparation
• Good organization - being an efficient user of time
• A positive attitude, and the ability to be flexible
• Good reliability, and the ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team
• Availability to work during business hours (mornings), and some flexibility to work extra hours during busier time of the year

Unlike many hospitality-industry roles, you will not be required to work late-nights. If you are looking for a hospitality role, without the hospitality hours, this position might be perfect.
