Malin Friends Nursery and Kindergarten is an exceeding rated Children's Centre located in Kew. We provide exceptional educational and are programs. We seek to employ a Chef/ Cook to join our team, from November, 2018, on a full time basis.

This position requires the successful applicant to provide meals for our children across the day, following individual dietary requirements including medical conditions and allergies, menu planning, hygienic preparation of high quality meals and snack, complete orders as required, maintain paperwork as required, follow policy and procedures, remain up to date with training and food safety standards, ensure kitchen areas are perfectly maintained and presented.

The successful applicant will have applicable chef/ cook qualifications and/or Certificate 3 or Diploma in early childhood education or care (or equivalent). Further, the successful applicant will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have high levels of professionalism, demonstrate excellent team work, manage time effectively and have a passion for working with young children. Excellent interactions with children and adults is essential.

A valid working with children check and First Aid qualifications including Anaphylaxis management, is required.
