Nellie Melba Retirement Village in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Chef for our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking delicious home style, Aussie meals.

This is a full-time position available commencing January 2019 with weekday and weekend roles available.

Key skills required:

• At least 3-5 year’s Aged Care experience in a large organisation
• Hold a Food Safety Supervisors Certificate and knowledge of HACCP
• Ability to lead a team and run a kitchen
• Ability to plan menus
• Ability to cater for special functions and dining events
• Highly organised with outstanding time management skills
• Personable with a positive attitude
