We currently employ over 1,000 personnel engaged in various operations in our active markets.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated, highly experienced, trade qualified chef to manage the entire food services operation and kitchen team at our client's new, upmarket 230 bed aged care facility in Box Hill.

Skills and experience

​​​​​​Who we are looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role - aged care experience a huge benefit.
• Demonstrated and proven kitchen management experience.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Empathy towards residents, staff and clients.
• High level of QA, WHS, HACCP and Food Safety knowledge.
• Ability to lead a busy kitchen in a large facility.
• Ability to produce high quality meals in line with aged care food service guidelines.
• Be responsible for rostering of team members.
• Menu design and implementation.
• Excellent control of food and labour costs.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent client liaison skills.
• Must have own transport.

Hours of Employment:

• 40 hours per week.
• Shift details will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.
