The Alexander Aged Care Centre is a 90-bed facility located in Clayton.

We require an experienced Aged Care Chef Manager to take ownership of the operation of our kitchen. The position will be on a full time Monday to Friday basis. You will be responsible for the following:

Residents receive quality meals

Maintain rosters and supervise kitchen personnel

Ensure a high standard of hygiene

Maintain accurate records

Purchasing of stock

Stock control

You must have a minimum of two years aged care experience with a thorough understanding of food safety standards, texture modified food, food allergies and hold a Food Safety Supervisor qualification.

You will be supported by a friendly, dedicated team including the Facility Manager, Assistant Chef and kitchen staff.

You must be friendly and approachable at all times as you will be dealing directly with our residents and their families.

A current police check is essential.
