Alliance Catering is seeking a energetic & dynamic, hands on Catering Chef to work in our team at one of Australia’s most recognised brands located in the Laverton/ Truganina area to cater for a diverse clientele comprising of both corporate and warehousing personal.

We are looking for a Chef with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.

Reporting directly to the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day running of the kitchen assist with supervison of the catering operations both retail and functions . You will be multi-skilled with the ability to lead your team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key client contacts
• Oversee Day to day production of all catering requirements across all shifts.
• Financial and Operational Management of the operation
• Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
• Managing staffing requirements and rosters
• Ordering, replenishing stock, effective rostering
• Adherence to both client & Spotless compliance requirements

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Proven and successful background in Catering Management
• A focus on providing excellent contemporary food!
• Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Highly developed leadership skills
• Strong Human Resource skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Impeccable grooming standards
• Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
• Computer literate
