Salsa Bar & Grill is situated in the prime culinary precinct of Port Douglas, Far North Queensland.

Our menu is modern Australian with an emphasis on local produce & dishes infused with extraordinary flavours. Our team is led by Head Chef Goran Zonai, who has been crowned with multiple awards for his culinary excellence, along with the team supporting him.

About the role

We are looking for passionate chefs to join our family, who will bring innovative ideas & techniques to the team. You will be working across all sections in a busy kitchen with 8 other chefs averaging 70 covers for lunch & 150 covers a night.

Our service team strives to ensure customers are greeted with the enthusiasm that the chefs have put into the food that is served.

Skills and experience

You must be accustomed to a fast paced working environment, passionate about your art, capable of contributing menu ideas,and good working in a large kitchen brigade.

• Must be fully qualified
• Accustomed to a fast paced professional environment
• Highly organised and punctual, professional attitude
• Must be competent across all sections
• Experience in Á la carte service is essential
