About Merrywell Burger Bar

The Merrywell is an expansive American-style gastro-pub with the ultimate burger bar downstairs offering award winning burgers, tacos, salads and daily specials.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Sous' and Chef de Cuisine you will continue to build on the already strong customer base by leading and developing a team of capable and dedicated Chefs, Cooks and Stewards.

You will be a team player who has excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on providing quality leadership to your team whilst delivering a high quality, consistent product.

To succeed in this role you must be resilient and flexible with a positive can-do attitude to meet the demands of this fast paced and extremely busy 24/7 challenging environment.

What you need:

• Passion for the industry is a must and continuous thirst for knowledge
• Strong experience with American style cuisine especially burgers
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
