We have a great opportunity for a top performing passionate Chef de Partie to come and join our Mr Hive Kitchen & Bar!

Located in Crown’s Metropol Hotel, Mr Hive has an offering of a modern, comforting menu, inspired by French cooking techniques. With its rustic, inviting décor, it includes an open bar, relaxing lounge, large dining area and also room service for the Metropol Hotel.

Reporting to the Sous, this role will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation oft not only for Mr Hive but for Crown Metropol Room Service. You will be responsible for managing your own section and ensuring that the cuisine stays true to the Restaurants’ vision

About the Role:

Reporting to the Sous' and Chef de Cuisine you will continue to build on the already strong customer base by leading and developing a team of capable and dedicated Chefs, Cooks and Stewards.

You will be a team player who has excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on providing quality leadership to your team whilst delivering a high quality, consistent product.

To succeed in this role you must be resilient and flexible with a positive can-do attitude to meet the demands of this fast paced and extremely busy 24/7 challenging environment.

What you need:

• Passion for the industry is a must and continuous thirst for knowledge
• Hotel experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
