About the company

Yu Kitchen is in partnership with Malaysia's famed Ruyi & Lyn restaurant, boasting a crafty pan- Asian menu mentored by Chen kentaro – chef & owner of Singapore's two Michelin- starred Shisen Hanten and son of Iron Chef Chinese Chen Kenichi.

The kitchen will be whipping up modern dishes from the use of locally and internationally sourced produce to live caught seafood off the coast of Australia.

The Chef de Partie is responsible of ensuring daily operations and customers expectations are met.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Chinese Kitchen.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years with live seafood and cutter, this is a MUST.
  • Be able to display OH&S procedures and food safety.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets standard
  • Prepare and present high quality food
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to read in English
  • Be able to work under pressure by their own as well as in a team.
  • Have a positive work attitude
