Experienced Chef/Cook:

Located in arguably one of best known cafe' precincts in Melbourne CBD, Degraves St

Our venue requires the services of a conscientiousness enthusiastic and professional chef or cook to join our established team.

Our venue operates 7 days per week Breakfast, Lunch and dinner and applicants must be flexible with availability.

• No Doubles or Split Shifts
• Can accommodate 2 consecutive days off

Role & Responsibilities:
•Chef / Cook
•Assist Head & Sou Chef in all facets of kitchen work

•Prep & Service
•Stock take
•Stock Ordering (if required)
•Adhere to OHS policy
•Adhere to company policies
•Maintain section
•Service -Sections can vary – Larder / Pans
•Service – Breakfast & lunch or Lunch &
Dinner (no Splits)
•Punctual & Well groomed

Skills & Experience:

• .Competent with pan work
• •Have relevant accreditation' s & references
• •Have a minimum 3 years' experience in this role
• •Have excellent Knife Skills
• •Work Competently and Autonomously
• •Work in high pressure situations and maintain good communication
• Work well within the team & follow direction by senior staff
• Have good knowledge of the fundamentals of cooking
