Chef/Cook

Reporting and working with the Head Chef in a small team you will be required to have knowledge of all facets of the kitchen and its operations including but not limited to-

• ensure quality of food at all times.
• regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• Preparing and cooking varies foods including Hot Section and Larder.
• correctly seasoning of foods during cooking and preparation.
• Maintain proper portioning of all foods correct
• plating of plates for service, adding sauces and garnishes correctly for each dish.
• eye for detail.
• storing food at correct temperatures and competing temperature check list
• preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
• able to order stock and rotate stock as needed.
• input in planning menus and costing of items required
• to train and monitor other kitchen staff including apprentices

The position we are looking for are full-time you will require Initiative, good listening skills and lots of energy for this fast-paced roles. Redmanna trades for lunch and dinner 7 days, specialising in Smart Casual dining.
