We are a busy 'local' cafe and catering business that has been trading successfully or 28 Years. After this amount of time we feel its time for a bit of a change. We are looking for a casual Chef that has always wanted to do their own style of food but who can also be considerate of our current menu and clientele.

Our philosophy has always been to provide great food, great value and great service and in saying that we have stuck with a similar menu 'formula' for the past 28 years! Hence the need of a change, how ever the philosophy will remain.

This job is perfect for a Chef that is over working nights and split shifts and every weekend. We don't work public holidays and we do close between Christmas and New Year.

You will need to be super organised, a keen and motivated early starter and be prepared an capable of maintaining high standards of food safety / handling and record keeping.

Experience in a similar environment is essential as a cafe is a very unique hospitality venue nowadays and requires a unique individual to ensure ongoing success for all.

An awareness of current trends in the cafe scene is beneficial and an interest in updating industry knowledge is a must.
