We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our Team at our GSK on-site Cafeteria in Boronia. This role offers plenty of variety, including cooking and preparing meals, and providing exceptional customer service to our valued Clients.

• Monday to Friday- 01:45pm– 09:15pm (sole charge position where you will be required to work alone)

Key duties will include:

• Manage night operations of the cafeteria
• Prepare of food and beverage products
• Cook meals (café/canteen style food)
• Manage the cash register and Espresso Machine
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service area
• Maintain a strong relationship with the clients and customers on site

In order to hit the ground running you will have:

• Experience working in a similar environment or position
• Commercial Cookery Qualification highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
• Experience in using Cash register, EPOS and Espresso machine
• Understanding of OH&S and Food Hygiene requirements
• Own transport recommended as the site is based in an industrial area
• Prior food preparation experience in a commercial kitchen, using slicers, food processors, combi ovens, sharp knives, etc
• Great personal grooming, presentation and a confident and pleasant manner
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
