We're recruiting a Baker/ Pastry Cook to join our night shift pastry team at our Production Facility. You would be responsible for the preparation and baking of traditional European & Artisan style products such as Danish's and Croissants.
Ideally, you will:
- Have proven experience in the pastry or bakery industry.
- Be willing and able to take on physically demanding activities.
- Have a passion for food and demonstrate a creative flair.
- Have strong knowledge and experience in the production of pastries including lamination of dough.
- Be able to assemble pastries and croissants according to recipes.
- Finish products to product specifications.
- Assist in stock control by monitoring ingredient requirements and wastage.
- Be someone who is willing to learn and is looking to excel in your career.
- Be able to work effectively in a team.
- Be quality focused and have knowledge of HACCP quality systems.
- Be mindful and strive for continuous improvement.
